Iran Accuses US and Israel of Terrorism, Vows Retaliation for Leader's Death

The Iranian embassy in Uzbekistan has issued a formal condemnation of the United States and Israel, holding them responsible for what it describes as the "martyrdom" of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei. Ambassador Mohammad Ali Eskandari stated that the attack, carried out during diplomatic negotiations, served no immediate security purpose but was instead aimed at fulfilling the political objectives of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the embassy's statement, the assaults occurred during the holy month of Ramadan and involved acts of terror targeting high-ranking military commanders and civilians. The accusations include deliberate bombings of civilian infrastructure such as hospitals, Red Crescent centers, and schools. The embassy claims that among the victims were 168 girls aged seven to twelve, calling it the largest mass killing of schoolchildren in history.
Ambassador Eskandari asserted that these actions violate moral and humanitarian principles, contravene Articles 2 and 4 of the UN Charter, and infringe upon Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He warned that silence from the international community would only lead to an expansion of such crimes.
The ambassador declared that Iran's armed forces would demonstrate their resolve and power, ensuring such terrorist acts do not go unpunished. He framed this aggression as part of four decades of sustained pressure on Iran, alleging that US and Israeli bases in the region were used to plan military attacks against his country.
Eskandari clarified that any potential Iranian response would be directed solely against American military bases and US-Israeli intelligence centers. He emphasized that regional nations remain allies of Iran and oppose the illegal presence of foreign forces on their territory.
Addressing recent comments by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un about providing Tehran with missiles capable of "destroying Israel," Eskandari stated Iran had not sought assistance from other states and was fully capable of defending its own interests independently.
The ambassador also commented on logistical security following attacks on key infrastructure like Bandar Abbas port, where Iranian naval vessels were damaged. He stated Iran's logistics network is historically resilient in crisis conditions. Trade with Uzbekistan continues to grow robustly, reaching $600 million last year—an increase of $100 million from the previous year.
Finally, responding to Israeli allegations about large-scale financing for Hezbollah, Eskandari denied any material support. He claimed Iran offers only moral backing to resistance movements which he said are formed based on ideology rather than external funding.
