Iranian officials have provided an initial assessment of the damage caused by recent airstrikes targeting the country's oil storage infrastructure. According to statements, the attacks impacted a limited number of facilities.

The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company confirmed that strikes hit oil storage depots in Tehran and Alborz province. Ismail Hosseini, a representative of the parliament's energy commission, specified that only four fuel storage sites were damaged.

"These attacks only affected four oil depots," Hosseini stated. "Given pre-planned measures and the existence of other storage facilities across the country, there is no concern regarding the supply of gasoline and energy. There is no need for people to form long queues at gas stations."

Authorities emphasized that while specific infrastructure objects sustained damage, Iran's reserve capacities and additional fuel storage sites remain operational. The assessment aims to reassure the public that fuel supplies are stable and no immediate shortages are expected.

The strikes follow earlier announcements from Israel regarding air operations against Iranian oil infrastructure. An Israeli military representative had previously claimed that at least 30 oil tanks in Tehran were targeted.
