Iran has officially notified the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about a new projectile strike targeting the site of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant. According to Tehran's report, the attack did not cause any damage to the facility, and there were no casualties among personnel.

The IAEA confirmed receiving the notification from Iranian authorities. The agency stated that Iran reported another projectile had hit a building within the Bushehr plant complex. Iranian officials assured that the nuclear power station itself sustained no damage, all staff are safe, and the plant's operational status remains normal.

In response to the incident, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reiterated his call for maximum restraint from all sides. He emphasized the critical need to avoid any actions that could pose a threat to nuclear safety, especially during periods of ongoing conflict.

This event follows earlier reports from Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), which stated that two strikes originating from Israel had targeted the Bushehr plant area. The first projectile reportedly landed on the industrial site of the station. The AEOI maintained that these prior incidents also resulted in no casualties or disruption to the nuclear plant's operations.

The organization noted a similar incident occurred on March 17th, when a projectile fell in the vicinity of the Bushehr facility. That earlier event was also reported without any recorded casualties or significant damage.
