Iran Presents Three Demands to US for Resuming Nuclear Talks
@TengriNews
Iran has reportedly outlined three specific conditions that must be met by the United States before negotiations on its nuclear program can resume. According to information from regional media, these demands include security guarantees against renewed conflict, access to a complete nuclear fuel cycle, and financial compensation.
The conditions were communicated amid heightened regional tensions following a military operation initiated by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28. Officials in Tel Aviv stated the operation's objective was to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Concurrently, Washington issued threats to target Iran's naval fleet and defense industry while calling for domestic opposition to the current regime.
The military campaign has reportedly resulted in significant casualties. Latest figures indicate at least 1,300 people have been killed in the attacks within Iran, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response to his death, Iran's Assembly of Experts announced on March 9 that Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late leader, has been named as the new Supreme Leader.
The conflict has escalated beyond military targets. Reports suggest missile strikes are hitting civilian infrastructure both within the Islamic Republic and in other countries across the region. In retaliation, Tehran has launched attacks against Israeli territory and American military bases located throughout the Middle East.
