Iran Reports Limited Damage, No Fuel Shortage After Strikes on Oil Depots

Iranian officials have provided an assessment of the damage caused by recent airstrikes targeting the country's oil storage infrastructure. According to statements, the attacks hit facilities in Tehran and Alborz province.
Ismail Hosseini, a representative of the Iranian parliament's energy commission, clarified that only four fuel storage sites were struck. He emphasized that the impact on national fuel supplies is minimal.
"These attacks only hit four oil depots. Given pre-planned measures and the existence of other storage facilities in the country, there is no concern regarding the supply of gasoline and energy. There is no need for people to form long queues at gas stations," Hosseini stated.
Authorities confirmed that while specific infrastructure objects were damaged, Iran's reserve capacities and additional fuel storage sites are operational. The assessment aims to reassure the public that fuel distribution will continue without significant disruption.
The strikes follow earlier announcements from Israel regarding air operations against Iranian oil infrastructure. Israeli military sources had previously claimed to have targeted at least 30 oil tanks in Tehran.
