Kazakhstan Evacuates Over 1,700 Citizens from Middle East in Single Night

In a major evacuation effort, Kazakhstan brought home over 1,700 of its citizens from the Middle East during the night of March 7-8. A total of eleven flights were operated by airlines including Air Astana, Scat, FlyDubai, and Air Arabia to facilitate the return.
The operation successfully transported 1,786 passengers back to Kazakhstan. Further flights are scheduled for March 8, involving both Kazakh and foreign carriers to continue repatriating citizens.
Since March 3, the evacuation mission has seen significant scale. A total of 37 flights have been completed from the Middle East region, resulting in the safe return of 6,254 individuals to Kazakhstan.
The work to bring Kazakh citizens home is ongoing. The effort is being coordinated between authorized state bodies and the involved airlines to ensure a smooth and continuous process.
