In a major overnight operation, more than 850 Kazakh citizens were successfully repatriated to their homeland. The coordinated effort involved five flights operated by Air Astana and FlyDubai between the night of March 4 and March 5.

The evacuation mission from Middle Eastern countries is ongoing, with a series of new flights scheduled for today, March 5. Kazakh and foreign airlines are set to operate several special routes to bring citizens home.

Air Astana plans to conduct two flights on the routes Jeddah–Aktau–Almaty and Jeddah–Atyrau–Almaty. The SCAT airline is scheduled for two flights from Muscat to Almaty.

Air Arabia is operating a flight from Sharjah to Almaty, with a second flight on the same route planned before the end of the day. FlyDubai also intends to operate flights from Dubai to Almaty and Astana, with the final passenger numbers still being determined.

Since March 3, a total of 12 flights have been completed from the Middle East to Kazakhstan, bringing home 2,111 passengers. With today's planned operations, approximately 4,000 citizens are expected to be delivered from the region.

The work to return Kazakh nationals continues in close coordination with authorized state bodies and the involved airlines.
