Elon Musk Claims Soros Organization Has Taken Over Hungary

American billionaire Elon Musk has made a striking claim about the recent political shift in Hungary. In a post on the social media platform X, Musk asserted that organizations linked to financier and philanthropist George Soros have effectively seized power in the country.

The comment was made in response to a post by Soros's son, who had celebrated the results of Hungary's parliamentary elections. The son stated that the people of Hungary had "reclaimed their country" after the opposition party Tisza secured a commanding lead.

"Soros Organization has taken over Hungary," wrote Musk.

The elections, held on April 12, resulted in a decisive victory for the pro-European opposition. Tisza party leader Péter Magyar is set to become the next prime minister after his party won a constitutional majority in parliament, enabling it to pass laws without support from other factions.

This outcome marks the end of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's 16-year tenure. Orbán acknowledged his party's defeat as "clear and painful." The incoming leader, Magyar, has already called for Orbán's government to resign immediately.

George Soros, a Hungarian-born American investor, is a polarizing figure globally. He is the founder of the Open Society Foundations network. While some view him as a philanthropist supporting democracy and education, others accuse him of being an influential speculator and a shadowy power broker allegedly funding political upheavals in various nations.
