Kazakh and Israeli Foreign Ministers Discuss Evacuation and Bilateral Ties

On March 9, 2026, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, and his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa'ar.

The ministers discussed the current situation in the Middle East and reviewed pressing issues concerning bilateral cooperation between their nations.

During the call, Minister Kosherbayev addressed his colleague with a request for assistance in evacuating citizens of Kazakhstan currently in Israel. He emphasized that ensuring their safety is a top priority for Kazakhstan.

In response, Minister Gideon Sa'ar assured that the Israeli side would make every effort to resolve the evacuation issue. He stated that this matter would be under his personal supervision.
