Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Foreign Ministers Discuss Drone Attack on Nakhchivan

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov.

During the call, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister provided detailed information about a recent incident involving an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The attack resulted in civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.

The ministers expressed serious concern regarding these attacks. They emphasized the unacceptability of actions that contradict the principles of international law and violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of another state.
