Erdogan Sends Wishes to Tokayev Ahead of Kazakhstan Visit for OTS Summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent warm wishes to his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, ahead of his upcoming visit to Kazakhstan. The message was conveyed by Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz during a meeting at the Akorda presidential residence.
Yılmaz expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended and relayed Erdogan's greetings. He stated that the Turkish leader attaches great importance to his forthcoming trip, which includes participation in an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Turkistan.
"Based on the agreements reached by you and our President, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and I have just held the 14th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation," Yılmaz told Tokayev. "Following its results, we signed a joint action plan that includes implementing specific measures in various fields. This document will serve as a roadmap for our trade and economic relations in the coming period."
The Turkish Vice President also congratulated the Kazakh leader on the successful nationwide referendum to adopt a new Constitution and wished further prosperity for Kazakhstan.
In response, President Tokayev emphasized that during this pivotal period, he feels the unwavering support of the fraternal Turkish people. He noted the special role played by observers from Turkey during the referendum process.
Welcoming Cevdet Yılmaz on his first visit to Kazakhstan, Tokayev earlier highlighted that Turkey is a strategic partner for his country.
