An electronic procurement system, known as E-procurement, has been fully implemented for the North Caspian project. The initiative was carried out by the Ministry of Energy in collaboration with the Authorized Body for Production Sharing Agreements.

The system became fully operational on January 1, 2026. Its primary goal is to foster domestic value creation within major oil and gas projects and to support Kazakhstani manufacturers of goods and service providers.

The digital platform manages the entire tender process. This includes stages from the initial submission of an application by a potential supplier to the final signing of contracts.

The introduction of E-procurement is designed to reduce administrative barriers, shorten application review times, and increase competition among suppliers. The electronic format guarantees equal access for all participants to the procurement procedures of the North Caspian project. It also ensures transparency at every stage—from identifying needs to fulfilling contractual obligations.
